The 2016 camp meeting Music Concert to be presented by the Choir and Orchestra of the Apostolic Faith Church, Port Harcourt Region, has been moved to Sunday, December 11, 2016. The shift, the church announced, was necessitated by the December 10 legislative re-run election in Rivers State.

The concert, to be staged by a combined choir and orchestra of the church drawn from Abia, Bayelsa and Rivers States, had been scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 10 by 6.00pm.

In a statement by the Regional Overseer, Rev. Edet Bassey, the change in date became necessary following the restriction of movement of persons from 12 mid-night on Friday to 8.00pm on Saturday. “Following this development, the church, as a partner with government and law enforcement agencies of state, decided to shift the Music Concert to Sunday whereas the time remains same”, Rev. Bassey said.

The church regretted the change but said God has not shifted His blessings for those who will be in attendance.

The Music Concert is part of the several programmes lined-up for the 2016 Regional Camp Meeting of the church which kicked-off on Sunday, December 4, and will last to Sunday, December 18.
