Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday dismissed a case brought by the Registered Trustees of Oron Union against the nomination of Mr. Nsima Ekere as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Mr. Samuel Frank as the Commissioner representing Akwa Ibom State in the commission, respectively.

The trustees had sought to upturn the nomination by suing President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President Bukola Saraki and the two nominees in August, last year.

The two nominees had since been confirmed by the Senate and started work after inauguration.
