A Mother’s Love
It’s clearly unquantifiable!
She endures hunger so that her offspring may eat;
Back strained, skin burnt – just to grant them a bright future
This love has no boundaries; no mortal wall can withstand it’s force
It’s strikingly amazing!
She goes to the farm, tills the soil, and plants cassava et al all day,
Then she’s back home in the evening to tend to her children all night
This love was forged in heaven; a mother is the earthly embodiment of God
It’s visibly unimaginable!
She strives endlessly to bring smiles upon sad faces,
Even in the midst of her struggle with life’s never-ending storms
This love never gives up; it goes on and on until Hades’ time comes
It’s glaringly incomparable!
She goes to bed thinking of the problems of her kids;
Sometimes I wonder when she thinks of her own issues
This love is priceless; tis what pushed us to the height of greatness!
