Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has visited the State Police Command Headquarters over the killing of some of their officers and men in Oyigbo area of the state. Accusing fingers have pointed at members of the outlawed pro-Biafra separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
During the visit, Wike, who met with the state Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan, also met with families of the dead policemen.
The governor was accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, Commissioner of Information, Paulinus Nsirim, and the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Professor Zacchaeus Adangor.
