It took the acclaimed QUALITY Project coroner 5 years to come up with this glorified Utra-failed Jetty that is without furniture, Fan or Air conditioner or even drainage system.
The worst of it all is that the creek was not even dredged to allow for boats to Bart on low tide and the world gathered to commissioned it.
Before you all rush in to give me narratives on the benefits to Bonny people, note the following;
1. The glorified Utra-failed-Jetty is located in PORT HARCOURT Local Government Area
2. The revenue it will generate goes to PORT HARCOURT Local Government Council
3. Employment opportunities of course goes to PORT HARCOURT Local Government
So tell me, what is then the benefit of the Jetty to Bonny people; don’t tell me it is same Bonny people that will use it because Bonny people have be going home before the refurbishment of this glorified Jetty.
A day prior to the commissioning of the said Jetty, two Bonny vibrant Bonny Sons who went to their Villages for Christmas were brutally killed by Sea Pirates and the Chief Security of the State could not say a word about it rather he commissioned more gate ways into the Pirates and Kidnappers Den.
I do not want to mention that of our 5 Fathers who were Kidnapped in their Village for the past 3 months and counting without a state from the Governor.
With all the silence from Chief Security Officer of the State over the incessant KILLINGS in Bonny, one will be forced to ask, “what exactly is the offence of the peace loving people of Bonny Local Government?” Is it now safe to say Bonny Local Government Area is no longer under Rivers State? I leave you to answer yourself.
For your information, Bonny Local Government is yet to Commission a wooden cupboard for the past 5 years under the NEW administration and no one, I mean, no one is asking questions about the GROSS NEGLECT.
